Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Raid Guides
On this page, you will find Blood Death Knight specificinformation to deal with each boss in the Aberrus raid.These are not complete encounter guides but rather provide specific tips fordoing the bosses as a Blood Death Knight.
This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics of eachencounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what is containedhere are details specifically tailored toward Blood Death Knightand what you can do to deal with each fight as best as possible.

Kazzara, the Hellforged
3.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
3.2.
Tips
- Taunt swap on every stack of
Terror Claws.
Terror Claws deals a combination of Physical and Magic damage.If you have
Blood Shield active and some Runic Power for
Death Strikeyou should be more than fine. You can use additional cooldowns if necessary, dependingon your HP% at the time of cast.
Death's Advance to negate the pushback from
Wings of Extinction.

The Amalgamation Chamber
4.1.
Talents/Build

4.2.
Tips
- Be prepared with
Death Strike for
Shadow Spike /
Flame Slash.
- Depending on your strategy for this encounter, you may need to swap bosses during Phase 1.If this is the case, be ready to run with
Death's Advance.
- Fire - Phase 1: You can comfortably solo soak
Fiery Meteorwith
Anti-Magic Shell.
- Shadow - Phase 1: The stacking health reduction from this boss will make
Shadow Spike more deadly. Be prepared to use cooldowns to survive thesehits.
- Phase 2: The tank combo in this phase will require a taunt immediatelyafter
Withering Vulnerability and the tank that taunted shouldmake sure that the other tank is not hit by
Shadowflame Burst.

5.
The Forgotten Experiments
5.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
5.2.
Tips
- Taunt swap at 3-4 stacks of
Infused Strikes.
- When both tanks have
Infused Strikes stacks, run into eachother to clear them. Do not do this again until
Infused Explosion hasfaded.
- Phase 3: Whoever is not tanking the boss should focus on keeping
Temporal Anomaly orbs away from the boss by running into them.

Assault of the Zaqali
6.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
- Be ready to
Dark Command and
Death Grip adds as theyappear.
- Tank all adds on top of the Magma Mystic.
- Taunt the boss as soon as he jumps to your platform.
- Mythic: The pushback from Ignara can be negated with
Death's Advance.

7.
Rashok, the Elder
7.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
7.2.
Tips
- The tank mechanic of this fight is a combo hit. Taunt when you see the sameattack appear in the pattern. You do not want to be hit by
Flaming Slashor
Earthen Crush twice in the same combo.
- When
Shadowlava Blast is cast (big purple cone). Use this asyour indicator to drag the boss into the middle of the room.

8.
The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn
8.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
8.2.
Tips
- Taunt swap at 5-6 stacks of
Searing Claws.
- When you are not tanking, try to soak
Shrapnel Bomb's. Aimto have some
Blood Shield active for this so you do not die whilstbeing out of range of the boss.
- The pushback from
Blast Wave can be negated with
Death's Advance.
- The Golems can be gripped together. You can opt to save
Abomination Limbon the pull and use it on their first appearance, or use it on pull and saveit for the second set.
- You can stop the casts from the Golems with
Death Grip,
Mind Freeze,
Blinding Sleet and
Asphyxiate.
Tactical Destruction is always cast on the pillars closestto the boss. When the Golems spawn, move the boss closer to the middle so themelee DPS do not have to run as much.

Magmorax
9.1.
Talents/Build

Tips
- When
Incinerating Maws is cast, wait until the attack hasfinished before taunting.
- If you are the target of
Incinerating Maws use
Anti-Magic Shellto help survive the hits.
- Keep the boss away from
Magma Puddle's.
- When you are not tanking soak
Magma Puddle's to reduce theirsize.
- The knockback from
Overpowering Stomp can be negatedwith
Death's Advance.

10.
Echo of Neltharion
10.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
10.2.
Tips
- Do not use
Death's Advance on the knockbacks in this fight.You want to be knocked through walls.
- Phase 1: Taunt after
Calamitous Strike.
- Phase 1: After
Calamitous Strike the boss will cast
Echoing Fissure, and this will be your indicator to move to anew area.
- Phase 2: Keep the boss near the Voice from Beyond adds to kill them.
- Phase 2: When an add has died, move to the next one.
- Phase 2: The tank mechanic in this phase is
Sunder Shadow.He will knock you through a wall, and shortly after, all walls between where youwere knocked from to where you are now will be destroyed.
- Phase 3: Gain threat on the spawning adds.
- Phase 3: When
Ebon Destruction is cast run into a portalto survive.

11.
Scalecommander Sarkareth
11.1.
Talents/Build
For this, boss, I suggest you use the default build at the top of this page.
11.2.
Tips
- Phase 1: Swap after each stack of
Burning Claws. This will leavea debuff on the tank which will deal damage to the entire raid based on the amount ofdamage you took. Utilise
Anti-Magic Shell,
Icebound Fortitude and
Lichborneto mitigate it.
- Phase 1: Stand in one
Searing Breath to remove
Oppressing Howl.
- Intermission 1: Soak the 3 pools that spawn around your character to leave this realm. Ifyou take too long between the soaks or do not soak all 3 you will die.
- Intermission 1: Run through 10
Astral Flares before you soak all 3 pools.
- Phase 2: Swap after each stack of
Void Claws.
- Phase 2: Stand in pools on the ground to enter the shadow realm from the intermission andlet your
Void Claws debuff expire inside there to avoid dealing damage to the raid.
- Phase 2: Make good use of your grips to keep the adds on top of the boss.
- Phase 3: Swap after each stack of
Void Slash. This is a frontal attack; ensureno other player is hit.
- Phase 3: Similar to Phase 2 stand in pools on the ground to enter the shadow realm and letyour debuff expire in here to avoid dealing damage to the raid.
- Phase 3: The pushback from
Scouring Eternity can be negated with
Death's Advance.
