Bodies of victims who could not be indentified were being carted to a common burial ground near the scene of the wreck of an excursion train carrying 1500 Roman Catholics home from a beach outing and pilgrimage. S. Coast Guard, died today at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital after a long illness. He had been a resident of nearby Gulf-port about 20 years. A native of Skone, Sweden, he came to the United States when 16 years old and joined the Coast Guard in 1900. He had written his autobiography, Tales of Adventure, but it had not been prepared for publication.
