Washington Dulles Airport Lounges: What to Know - NerdWallet (2024)

There are 13 lounges in Dulles airport. Because the airport is a hub for United Airlines, the airline and its Star Alliance partners have a dominating presence. That said, there is a Dulles airport lounge available to you if you are flying in a premium cabin on any alliance airline.

But you don’t have to shell out thousands of dollars for an international business or first class flight to hit a lounge at Dulles. Several lounges are available to Priority Pass members, and Capital One just recently opened a lounge for its Venture X cardmembers.

Here’s what you need to know about Washington-Dulles airport lounges.

Main terminal: Capital One Lounge and the USO

When departing Dulles airport, the first lounges you’ll see are the Capital One Lounge and the USO lounge, both located in the main terminal.

Capital One Lounge at Washington-Dulles

The most recently opened lounge at Dulles is the Capital One Lounge.

The Capital One Lounge, which features a full bar, luggage lockers and self-service dining, is available exclusively to Capital One cardmembers.

  • Located in the main terminal after the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) PreCheck security checkpoint.

  • You may access the Capital One lounge if you have a Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, a Capital One Venture X Business or a Capital One lounge access pass.
