This hotel is the perfect base for those that would like to visit the medieval city of Carcassonne. It's only a short taxi ride to the city, and there are plenty of things to see there such as the castle and the citadel.

The hotel is set within beautiful countryside, and you're unlikely to find anywhere so relaxing in the area. The golf course ensures that everything is kept relatively quiet while the gardens are the perfect spot to relax in after your day visiting the city.

Yes, the food is expensive but this is a Michelin-starred restaurant, and many guests feel that it was worth the money to experience the dishes. From the first course to last, all are presented beautifully and taste delicious.

It's surprising that this beautiful building would suffer from traffic noise but the motorway is very near to the hotel, and you can hear a hum from it throughout the day. It's not something that might keep you awake but, for some, it spoils the rural setting.
