FIGHT OVERVIEW
This fight has 2 phases. In the first phase, the boss run to the cauldron and toss a colored vial.
There are 3 vials: Red, Blue and Green, each giving him different abilities.
Maloriak has 20 adds locked around the room. 18 Aberrations and 2 Prime Subjects, he releases them throughout the fight.
The 2nd and final phase starts when Maloriak hits 25% HP.
Phase 1
Every 40 seconds, Maloriak throws a random vial into his cauldron. The third one is always green.
We can roughly summarize the different vials by themes:
Stack up on Red ial, Spread out on Blue vial, and Manage the adds on Green vial.
On Heroic, Maloriak always starts with the Black vial.

Throughout the fight, and with any current vial, Maloriak tries to release the adds locked around the room.
These adds must be picked up by a tank and moved away from the boss; otherwise, they stack increased damage and reduced damage taken.
You can choose to let the cast go or interrupt it if you don't want to deal with the adds now.
You should let through 3 casts every cycle to get 9 aberrations per green vial, where the slime helps you to kill them.

This cast is only used when the boss is under the Green Vial.
Maloriak tosses his green vial into the cauldron, coating every unit in the room with slime.
All players and enemies take 100% increased damage for 15 seconds. It also cancels any previous add buffs.
Stack up the adds and burst everything down! You should have previously stacked multiple aberrations to make good use of the debuff.

This cast is only used when the boss is under the Red Vial.
The boss targets a random player with a DoT effect. Additional damage taken while affected increases the damage taken by this DoT by 50%.
Avoid taking additional damage when affected, such as from the Fire Soak.

Ice blocks a random player and deals damage to all players within 10yds.
The Ice Block must be killed, and deals aoe damage upon death.

The boss targets a random player with a DoT effect. Additional damage taken while affected increases the damage taken by this DoT by 50%.

Maloriak deals raid damage every second for 6s, it can be interrupted.

Phase 2
Phase 2 begins when Maloriak's health drops to 25%. At this point, he releases all remaining Aberrations and 2 Prime Subjects.
During this phase, Maloriak no longer uses Vials but gains a unique ability from each type.
To handle this phase effectively, assign a tank to pick up the remaining adds and kite them away.

Maloriak creates lines of fire in front of him, dealing damage to all players hit and leaving behind trails of fire.
The cast is very frequent and quickly fills up the room.
Position the boss facing a wall to save space while your DPS finishes off the boss.
