Are UCLA dining halls open on weekends? ›

There will always be dining halls open during the meal periods. However, keep in mind that some dining halls are only open for certain meal periods and some may be closed for the weekend. Visit the UCLA dining hours website through the button above to plan ahead.

We currently have three all-you-care-to-eat residential restaurants conveniently located in Rieber Hall, Sunset Village, and De Neve Plaza. You may also choose from our quick-service restaurants, which include Bruin Café, The Drey, The Study at Hedrick, Rendezvous, and Epicuria at Ackerman.

The Drey, housed in the newly opened Olympic and Centennial residence halls, is a new takeout option for students with refrigerated and freshly-stocked food options ranging from sandwiches to sushi to bento boxes.

UCLA has its own bakery, which produces roughly 95% of all baked goods served on campus. Having an in-house bakery allows these items to be made fresh daily with less sugar and salt, extra whole grains and no preservatives. It also reduces food waste because the team only makes what is needed.

UCLA students, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors may purchase individual meals via the following options: Currently our “All-You-Care-To-Eat” residential restaurants are only open to those living in the on-campus residential halls located on the Hill due to the present shortage of staff.

With an annual membership of over 5,000, the Undergraduate Business Society is the largest student organization at UCLA.

Basketball (men)

Dykstra Hall

Built in 1959, Dykstra (/ˈdaɪkstrə/) was the first dorm located on the Hill, as well as the first co-ed residence hall in the United States. The hall is named after UCLA Provost Clarence Dykstra.

The proposed Gayley Towers rooms would be comparable in size to the triple-occupancy rooms of 250 square feet in the newest campus complex, Olympic and Centennial Halls, which opened in fall 2021 and are fully occupied, UCLA said after the regents meeting Thursday.

UCLA Extension is one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive continuing education programs. Its resources are tailored to the needs of working adults and lifelong learners, with open enrollment and evening, weekend, daytime and online courses.

In general, campus buildings are open from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., unless other specific building hours are established and posted.
